Coming from a low-income family as a disadvantaged “project child,” higher education is not the norm. Regardless of your background continuing your education is priceless. With the financial help of The Scott Detherage Foundation Scholarship I have been able to further my education. I am proud to say that I have accomplished the goal of graduating from a University, something I would have never imagined. With my greatest and deepest appreciation, I want to thank The Scott Detherage Foundation for allowing me to pursue my educational goal of obtaining my Bachelor’s degree.
